Earn up to 30 bonus dollars when you fly with WestJet within Canada

Here's a nice bonus for flying with WestJet in Canada! You can earn 15 bonus WestJet dollars for each one way flight you complete during the promotional period. You can earn the bonus for up to two of those one ways flights (essentially one round trip flight) for flights booked in; Econo, EconoFlex, Premium, PremiumFlex, Business, Businessflex fare classes. Basic and Member Exclusive Fares are excluded from the offer. Taking a page from Air Canada's playbook WestJet has made this bonus only valid on new bookings made from today through to October 3. If you already have flights that you booked prior to today those won't be eligible. Also note the only bookings made directly with WestJet (online or by phone) count towards the bonus.

It's time for TD to update their TD First Class Travel Visa Infinite Card

 
Over the course of this year we have had several articles covering credit cards in Canada that we feel are due for an overhaul. It all started out with our first post way back in January - initially we wanted to cover all five cards in that post however we wrote so much about the RBC Avion Visa Infinite Card we decided to split up the articles and now three quarters of the year later we finish off the series for this year. The revamped American Express Gold Rewards Card is back on the market offering up to 60,000 welcome bonus points

Just a few short weeks ago the details of the revamped American Express Gold Rewards Card were revealed. For most, the card's makeover didn't excite them. September 20 Update: Alaska Airlines reveals new top elite tier level, new Amex Offer with Lenovo & last day to join the Amex Gold Rewards Card waitlist

Alaska Airlines revealed the details of their new top elite tier in the Mileage Plan program last week. The new MVP Gold 100K will officially launch by the end of January 2022. Qualification will require earning 100,000 Mileage Plan miles or 140 segments earned on Alaska Airlines, oneworld and partner airlines. There is also requirement to have at least 24 of those flights on Alaska Airlines. Once achieved some of the benefits include 150% elite bonus miles, oneworld Emerald status, highest waitlist priority for upgrades, 2 one way international upgrade certificates for travel on American Airlines and more.
