American Express' big summer campaign came to a close earlier this week and the fall acquisition offers are now available. The fall campaign has a mix of standard welcome bonus offers and some elevated offers though not as high as what we saw over the summer. With that being said, all of the current welcome bonuses are still some of the more valuable offers in the market.
Consumer Card Welcome Offers
New American Express® Aeroplan®* Reserve Cardmembers can earn up to 85,000 Aeroplan points:

American Express Business Edge™ Card
Up to 67,000 points
A welcome bonus of 45,000 Membership Rewards points, plus 10 points per dollar spent on eligible business essentials including office supplies & electronics, rides & gas, eats & drinks up to a maximum of 10,000 points and 1,000 bonus points per month that you spend $3,000 or more in, for a total of up to 67,000 Membership Rewards points.
- Earn 45,000 Welcome Bonus points when you charge $5,000 in purchases to your Card in your first three months of Cardmembership
- Plus, earn 10x the points for every $1 spent on eligible business essentials including office supplies & electronics, rides & gas, eats & drinks within 6 months of Cardmembership, up to a maximum of 10,000 points.
- You can earn an extra 1,000 Membership Rewards
points for each monthly billing period in which you spend $3,000 in
purchases on your Card. This could add up to 12,000 extra points in a
year.
You'll receive the 45,000 point welcome bonus when you spend $5,000 on the card in the first three months of having the card. Those 745,000 points alone are worth $450 towards any travel or a statement credit, up to $900 for travel via Amex's Fixed Points for travel or a minimum of $675 when converting to Aeroplan or British Airways. The card has a $99 annual fee so at the very least you should come out with $351 in value.
Then on top of the welcome bonus this card also gets a 10x points multiplier on a wide variety of categories points per dollar for the first 6 months.
