The Hyatt Place Montréal – Downtown has opened its doors early! This hotel that was featured in our article New Hyatt Hotel Openings in Canada for 2022 and the last time we checked it was scheduled to open in July 3 but that appears to have been bumped up and they are open for business. It makes sense to try to open prior to the Canada Day long weekend!

Aeroplan made several changes to their reward ticket change policy today. The first changes see them removing change fees on one more award ticket economy fare class:

• Aeroplan’s Economy Flex fare option now includes waived change fees alongside Economy Latitude, Premium Economy (flexible), Business Class (flexible) and First Class (flexible) fare options.

They have also simplified the structure of the change fee for the reward ticket fare classes that do have fees levied:

Another great travel Amex Offers offer came out today. This one provides a statement credit when you use your registered Amex card at Hyatt Hotels in Canada. Personally I received the offer on my Platinum Card but not on my Cobalt or Gold Rewards cards.
