Koho prepaid switches to Mastercard from Visa and JetBlue nixes Vancouver to Boston prior to next month's launch

Koho which provides prepaid credit cards has switched to issuing Mastercard cards as of this week instead of Visa cards. This means you'll be able use it at places such as Costco. New users who signup for a KOHO account will be receiving a Mastercard from this point forward. Existing KOHO users will have the option to switch their existing card to a Mastercard before October 2022. A new KOHO Physical Mastercard will be sent to the user within 10 business days once they receive the requests. Users will still be able to utilize all of the same features available in the KOHO mobile app. Click here to learn more about Koho.

Earn 3x Points when you convert Coast Hotels Coast Rewards points to Aeroplan

Coast Hotels Coast Rewards is once again offering a bonus when converting points to Aeroplan. Thanks to David D.  for alerting us to this latest version of the offer that runs until May 30. Coast Rewards members can convert points between now and the 30th and receive 3x the Aeroplan points.

Best Ever Bonus for the RBC Avion Visa Infinite Card: Earn up to 55,000 RBC Rewards Points!

Another Ultimate Portfolio update to let you know about - this time we updated The Ultimate "I have no idea what travel rewards I want" Credit Card portfolio! This is for those people who don't have set reward goals but know they want to be earning points and miles to use towards travel at sometime in the future. This portfolio is actually more than that - it is one of the top portfolios even the most seasoned points and miles enthusiasts would consider because it consists of only hybrid rewards cards and those are the best type of cards out there! This was another substantial update as 2 of the 3 cards were switched from when we made this portfolio in 2017! The recommended American Express Card is now the American Express Cobalt Card instead of the Gold Rewards Card and the Mastercard is now the HSBC World Elite Mastercard. Both of these cards did not exist when this portfolio was first published so it was due for a major overhaul.. Plus the feature hasbeen updated to the new Rewards Canada template. Changes coming to the flight discount benefit on the BMO AIR MILES World Elite Mastercard

Just when I had hoped BMO was done with making changes to their credit cards they go and make another one! This time it is small but significant change that is happening to the BMO AIR MILES®† World Elite®* MasterCard®*. That change affects the AIR MILES discount flight benefit, the one that offer 15% off AIR MILES flight redemptions in North America. This change will take place as of July 4, 2022 and for some it will be good, for others not so good.
