In some interesting route news -
Virgin Atlantic is now code sharing on
WestJet's
flights between London and Calgary, Halifax, Toronto and Vancouver as well as on
many connecting flights out of those cities. This is good news for
WestJet as they lost their British Airways partnership whent they
started flying to London (BA wasn't happy about that!) so it's nice to
see them have a new codeshare partner. We have reached out to WestJet to
see if this partnership will go beyond just codesharing and develop
into a reciprocal frequent flyer partnership. Although if some other sources are correct you can earn Virgin Atlantic Flying Club miles on these flights so long as they are booked on Virgin's site and carry the Virgin flight number. (Source
