The latest batch of new RBC Offers sees nine new and extended statement credit or discount promotions for using your RBC card at select retailers! In total there are over 30 offers in place with this program.

Be sure to login to your RBC account right away to load these offers (if required) or get the promo codes if required. Personally I received these offers on the WestJet RBC World Elite Mastercard but most if not all should also available for RBC's most popular card the RBC Avion Visa Infinite Card and most other RBC cards.

Here's an awesome promotion from American Express and Air Canada for holders of their co-brand credit cards! Members who hold one of these eligible will receive up to 25% back in points when they make an Aeroplan flight, car rental, hotel or Air Canada Vacations redemption by July 5.

We have been advised that the current welcome bonus offer on the Scotiabank Gold American Express card will now end on June 29 instead of July 4. The offer provides a bonus of up to 45,000 Scene+ points. At this point in time we have not yet been told what the new offer will be as of June 30. However with the revamp of the Platinum Card and the Red Amex cards from Scotia happening in June we feel there will be a focus on those card rather than the Gold so if I was to guess I would say the offer on the Gold will either remain the same or be lowered. Buy World of Hyatt points with a 30% bonus and how to use it to save on your summer hotel stays

Hyatt has come out with yet another buy points offer and this time they have returned to a bonus. When you buy 5,000 or more points in one transaction they will give a 30% bonus. This is a decent bonus if you need points right now or want to save on some more expensive summer stays with Hyatt. The price per point with a 30% bonus is about 1.85 cents (US$) which is higher than the 1.68 cents we saw during the last promotion with a 30% discount. 

Air Canada to launch flights to Bangkok and Mumbai

Air Canada has announced a new four times per week flight to Bangkok, Thailand and the resumption of flights to Mumbai. Both routes will be winter seasonal with Toronto to Mumbai (via London) launching on October 29 and Vancouver to Bangkok starting up on December 1.

This offer is good for stays until August 21, 2022 and this time it is awarded on up to 3 nights instead of 2 nights.

Your free movie with Scene+ isn't free anymore if you buy it online

The foundation of the Scene+ program (nee Cineplex Scene) ever since its inception in 2007 was to be able to earn points that you could redeem for free movies. That fundamental premise of the program abruptly came to an end this week after what appears to be an unannounced change from Cineplex. In the last few days or so Cineplex has started charging an online booking fee for ordering tickets on their website or via their app. This fee is also being charged on tickets that you redeem Scene+ points for!
