Delta Airlines is testing the market on select routes with a new option to upgrade with miles at the time of ticket purchase. Essentially it will cost you 1 SkyMiles per 1 cent of upgrade cost. While it may not be the best use of SkyMiles you can take solace in the fact that you will earn full MQMs on the upgraded flight. While many high end luxury hotel chains do have or participate in a loyalty program one stand out chain that has not gone down the loyalty road has been Canada's own Four Seasons hotels. That is about to change as they have announced that Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts will launch their own loyalty program in Q3 of this year. With the chain expanding fairly quickly for a luxury brand and changing market conditions it made sense for the company to bring on a program.

Air Canada and Turkish Airlines will be launching codeshare services on each others flights starting on April 11. Turkish will be placing their codes on Air Canada flights out of Toronto to several Canadian and U.S. destinations while Air Canada will place their code on select Turkish flights from Istanbul to the Africa, the Middle East, India and several domestic flights within Turkey.
