Here are the Rewards Canada Top Travel Credit Card Sign Up offers for the month of April 2022! This is not a 'best' credit card list like our Top Travel Rewards Credit Card rankings but instead a look at cards that have very good acquisition (welcome/sign up) offers. As always when choosing a card you should always take other factors into account other than the just sign up bonus, but when some of these cards are first year free, they can and do pay off even when you grab them strictly for the sign up rewards.

Here are our top credit card sign up offers for this month (in order of welcome bonus value, calculated as our minimum mile/points value for the program minus the annual fee)

American Express® Aeroplan®* Reserve Card (Apply here)
 Up to 110,000 points - Minimum value: $1,051
The new offer on this card sees 20,000 Aeroplan points awarded when you spend $3,000 on the card in the first three months. Then you can earn an additional 5,000 bonus points per month when you spend $1,000 a month on the card in the first 12 months. On top of this you earn 10X the points on eligible Air Canada®*, Air Canada Vacations®*, hotels, and car rental purchases for the first 6 months of Cardmembership, up to a combined maximum of 30,000 Aeroplan points. All told the 110,000 points are worth no less than $1,650 in our minds and in reality should be worth much more than that. Subtract the $599 annual fee and you get our $1,051 value.

TD Aeroplan Visa Infinite Privilege Card (Apply here)

Up to 105,000 points - Minimum value: $976

TD's ultra premium Aeroplan card provides a bonus of up to 105,000 Aeroplan points. You earn 20,000 Aeroplan points when you make your first purchase with your new card and then when you spend $1,000 each month for the first 10 months of Account opening you'll earn 8,500 Aeroplan Points per month. All told the points are worth no less than $1,575 in our minds and in reality should be worth much more. Take away the $599 annual fee and you have $976 in value and so many benefits to use when flying with Air Canada.  To get in on this bonus you have to apply by May 29 2022.

Up to 60,000 points - Minimum value: $780
The new offer on this card sees 15,000 Aeroplan points  being awarded when you spend $1,500 on the card in the first three months. Then you can earn an additional 2,500 bonus points per month when you spend $1,000 a month on the card in the first 12 months. On top of this you will earn 5X the points on eligible Air Canada®*, Air Canada Vacations®*, hotels, and car rental purchases for the first 6 months of Cardmembership, up to a combined maximum of 15,000 Aeroplan points. All told the 60,000 points are worth no less than $900 in our minds and in reality should be worth much more than that. Subtract the $120 annual fee and you get our $780 value.

450 WestJet dollars + $0 Companion Voucher - Minimum value: $631
WestJet continues to offer a $0 companion voucher (you just pay taxes & fees) for new card approvals. On top of this you'll 250 WestJet dollars on your first purchase and 200 more dollars when you spend $5,000 in the first three months  To get in on this both the 450 WJD & $0 Companion Voucher you have to apply by May 2, 2022.

This month we see the return of an increased welcome bonus offer on the Marriott card and it is one of the easier ones to achieve off the whole list. Simply put you can earn 65,000 Welcome Bonus points and a $100 Statement Credit after you charge $1,500 in net purchases to your Card in your first 3 months of Cardmembership. Those 65,000 points are worth $650 plus $100 statement credit gives you $750 in value less the $120 annual fee for our valuation of $630. To get in on this bonus you have to apply by May 10 2022.
