September 5 Update: Anyone have experience with American Bankers Insurance Company, WestJet cuts Mexico City, Air Canada Seat Sale

Here is a question for all our readers. Leo W. asks the following and since we have never dealt with them I can't provide an answer. Have any of you dealt with ABIC (aka Assurant) and how was your dealings with them? Let us know in the comments below!

"Anyone had experience with American Bankers Insurance Company (ABIC)? Many credit cards provide travel insurance through ABIC, but I don't know if it is easy to make a claim with ABIC."

WestJet is ending their service to Mexico City from both Calgary and Vancouver. Flights will end as of October 27. Passengers should be protected on WestJet's partner flights on AeroMexico (well from Vancouver only as AeroMexico cut Calgary as well) (Source Routesonline)
