The great offer of up to 25,000 Aeroplan Miles and First Year Free on the TD Aeroplan Visa Infinite card that we saw up until mid-December is back!

This is great news for the Canadian consumer and travellers alike who don't have this card yet or took it out from their portfolio as the latest offer for their TD Aeroplan Visa Infinite card is one you should definitely look at! The offer is for 15,000 Aeroplan Miles when you are approved for the card followed by another 10,000 when you reach $1,000 in spending within the first 90 days of having the card. All with the first year free! Which means you get those 25,000 Aeroplan miles for free (not to mention the additional miles you earn on your spending) and you can always choose to keep or get rid of the card before that first year is up and keep those miles. You can find out more about this offer and apply for the card here.

What will those 25,000 Miles get you? Those 25,000 Miles will get you one long haul ound trip economy class ticket within North America (taxes and fees excluded of course) or a one short haul trip with 10,000 miles to spare!

Rewards Canada Tip: Tie this in with other first year free offers and you can earn yourself 100,000 Aeroplan Miles for free right now! See here on how you can achieve this.

  1. Hi Patrick - FYI, I tried to apply for this offer via your link and ran into a tech issue on the TD site; when I followed up with TD to apply via phone, their agent informed me that the offer is no longer active. Regards, Andrew.

  2. Follow up to my previous; I had the tech issue fixed and was able to process the online application correctly. It seems as though the TD agent with whom I spoke wasn't aware of the promotion. Sorry for any confusion!

  3. Glad to hear it was fixed! When I checked my email this morning and saw your first comment I was wondering what was going on since this offer is supposed to last until May 8. Also the agent may not have known anything about it as it is strictly an online offer only.

  4. Hi Andrew,
How did you get the tech issue fixed?
I'm having the same problem and the phone agent could not help me and could not give me the same offer.
    Thanks!

  5. Hi Janet

Seems almost like a 'weekend' issue with TD! Have you tried again recently as it should be working?

  6. Looks like the technical issue is back. Site application kept running a loop - aeroplan details, td login, select card, back to aeroplan details, etc..etc..

  7. I talked to TD about this and here is there response:

"There is one issue that we know about, when existing TD customers are logged into Easyweb and are unable to proceed with completing an application. The target fix date for this issue is April 9th.

If this issue is happening to those who are not TD customers/logged into Easyweb, let me know if there are any further details (such as which step, what the error message is) so we can flag the issue for a fix.

In the meantime, if customers are still having trouble with the online application, I would recommend that they call our Credit Card Call Centre at 1-800-983-8472 and mention the Aeroplan offer on Rewards Canada with the code REPWQ. The phone rep will have to input this code so that we can fulfill the offer for the customer"

So if this is not the issue you are seeing, please comment below at what step or what the error message is so that can pass it along to TD.

  8. Unfortunately calling them would mean not being able to do application through GCR...

  9. Do you know if GCR's application is also having issues? (It should since it is the same promo...) Yes unfortunate but I would call in if the issues don't get fixed as the 25,000 Miles and FYF are better than perhaps waiting and the link being fixed after May 8th when the offer goes back to 15,000 Miles with the annual fee
