American Airlines launched these two new AAdvantage flight promotions
yesterday to encourage travel between North America and Asia on AA
and/or JAL as well as on JAL flights out of to Tokyo to select locales
in Asia. For those of you in the Vancouver area this could be a promotion you look at if you are flying to Asia since JAL's Vancouver-Tokyo flight is included in the promotion. Of course for the rest of us not in Vancouver it doesn't stop us from connecting in Vancouver or any one of the many U.S. gateways that are also part of this promotion. With the promotion you can earn the Double Miles on most fare classes except for
the lowest discounted economy classes.
