Today is tip day and like many tips it involves bonus mile offers from Emirates Skywards:

We have updated the Emirates Skywards Miles Accelerator offers and once again EK's Toronto-Dubai route is included for October (We haven't seen it included since May). This month if you fly on EK you can earn 12,000 Bonus Skyward Miles simply for flying in First Class or 4,000 Bonus Mles for Busines Class. As I have always mentioned, this is one of the easiest ways to rack up bonus miles for flying Emirates. If you are flying beyond Dubai you can also take advantage of any other Miles Accelerator offers available on other routes. For example if you choose to fly EK between Toronto and Perth in First Class you could earn 28,000 Bonus Skywards miles (12,000 for YYZ-DXB, 16,000 DXB-PER). See the link below for more details.

But of even bigger note, is if you are planning any trips on EK in October or November (and more so for those living in Alberta/BC) you should try to connect in Seattle using their Alaska Airlines code share as the Seattle to Dubai Miles Accelerator offer is 28,000 Bonus Miles for round trip flights in First or Business Class and 14,000 in Economy!
