New increased welcome bonus offers on HSBC's no fee travel and cash back rewards cards

You can now earn even higher welcome bonus offers on the new HSBC Travel Rewards Mastercard® and HSBC Cash Rewards Mastercard®. These are HSBC's entry level no fee rewards cards that were introduced into the market in late 2021 with two options, a travel rewards card and a cash back rewards cards. Both cards now see even higher bonuses than we have seen since the launched and these offers are available until October 31.

HSBC Travel Rewards Mastercard®

This card is now offering a limited time welcome bonus of 25,000 points if you spend $1,000 on the card in the first 180 days. Those 25,000 points are worth $125 towards any travel you book with any provider. This is a a 5,000 point boost over the previous offer but it also includes cutting the spend requirement in half as the previous offer required $2,000 in spending. It makes this new offer really easy to achieve as you only have to spend $166.67 per month for those first six months to receive the bonus.

HSBC Cash Rewards Mastercard®

This card is now offering a limited time welcome bonus of an additional 12.5% cash back on all purchases in the in the first 180 days (up to $1,000 in purchases). Thus this bonus matches the travel offer in value at $125. This card may be more appealing to some who want to earn extra but know they may not spend the full $1,000 over the 180 days as at least you'll get some of the bonus whereas on travel card you would not get anything if you didn't hit that $1,000 mark.
