TAP Air Portugal has launched a great Valentine's Day sale for travel for their flights out of Toronto. It is available in both Economy and Executive (Business) Class but I'll focus on the latter in this post as that really seems like the good deal! With this sale you can fly round trip business class from Toronto to Portugal from $1,999 all in or travel beyond to other European destinations for $2,499. On top of this, for the Executive/Business Class fares they are offering double status miles in TAP's Miles&Go program. This means you would earn 10,746 status miles each way if you fly Toronto to Lisbon.
One round trip with over 21,000 status miles would put you two thirds of the way to TAP Miles&Go Silver Elite status (Star Alliance Silver). You could also choose to credit these flights to Aeroplan where you would 200% points and 200% SQM which would be 7,164 points/SQM each way.

All flights need to be booked between February 10 and 14 for travel until September 30, 2022.
Here are two examples of actual pricing with this sale:
The pricing comes in even lower than advertised! Only $1948.71 round trip business class. It appears that most of the flights between Toronto and Lisbon are operated with TAP's A321LR which have lay flat business class seats and also have the single passenger throne seats. There are some days where TAP does utilize their larger wide body Airbus A330 (most notably on some Saturdays) if you want a more spacious business class seat. Either way, to be getting a business class flight to Portugal for under C$2,000 round trip is a great deal!
Here's Toronto to Rome and the pricing is bang on with their advertised price at $2,499 round trip. You can also add a stopover for up to 5 days in Lisbon on these connecting flights with no extra cost to the price of the flight.

To further maximize your points earning on these flights you'll want to use a credit card that has a travel accelerator like the HSBC World Elite® Mastercard® (6 points per dollar spent on travel) or The Platinum Card® from American Express (2 points per dollar spent on travel).
