February 4 Update: Air Canada Rouge to suspend all flights temporarily and IHG Hotels refreshes their logo and name

Air Canada announced they will be temporarily suspending all Air Canada Rouge flights as of February 8, This is primarily due to the Government of Canada requesting the suspension of flights to Mexico and the Caribbean. (Source Canadian Travel News)

IHG revealed a brand refresh today that sees their name become IHG Hotels & Resorts. They have also renamed their loyalty program from IHG Rewards Club to IHG Rewards.

"The word ‘Club’ has been removed from its name to reflect the warm welcome that is available to all, with members able to make the most of their travels with exclusive rates, special benefits and easy ways to earn and redeem points at all IHG hotels and partner locations including the breath-taking Mr & Mrs Smith collection. Going forward, IHG Rewards will be seen out and about more often and in more places."
