Hilton Honors first promo for 2021 is here – 2,000 bonus points per stay + 5,000 more points after every 5 nights

Hilton Honors revealed their first Points Unlimited promotion for 2021. Points Unlimited is Hilton’s set terminology for their global systemwide bonus points promotions. The current version of which ends on December 31, 2020 has offered double points and double elite night credits for the better part of this year. The new version that launches on January 1st moves to a set bonus per stay of 2,000 bonus points and Hilton will kick in an additional 5,000 bonus points for every 5 nights completed (those nights do not have to be consecutive or on the same stay) As we discuss often here on RC when it is a flat rate bonus like this the earn is maximized on stays that don’t cost too much. That is, is you stay on a rate of $80 per night you’ll earn 2,000 bonus points whereas a $500 per night stay will also just earn 2,000 points. So if you are all about maximizing your earn  you’ll want to try to book cheaper one night only stays to rack up as many points as possible. The bonus starts on January 1st but you can register and book your stays as of today.
