Drumheller based Canalta Hotels, who sponsors the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League and has hotels in and around the area of the Humboldt Broncos bus accident stepped up last week and offered free hotel stays for family and first responders of the tragedy. The hotel chain has taken another step to help out with their Canalta Rewards program. You can now redeem your Canalta Rewards points for a cash donation that will go to the Humboldt Broncos hockey team. The redemption amounts are as follows:
1,000 rewards points will result in a donation of $2.00
5,000 rewards points will result in a donation of $10.00
10,000 rewards points will result in a donation of $20.00
