Starwood has released the details of their next systemwide promotion called SPG Explore More.  The bonus offer is not night based liked the last one rather stay based so you don't have meet minimum night requirements! The bonus ranges from 500 Starpoints to 1,000 Starpoints per stay depending on the brand you stay at:

The bad news this time is that much like many SPG promotions from several years ago there is a list of hotels that are and are not participating so you'll have to make sure beforehand that the hotel you are staying at is one of those participating. For the most part it looks like a large proportion of Starwood's hotels in Canada are participating

Also if you stay at least 25 nights during the promotional period you'll receive an additional 10,000 Starpoints bonus!
