Starwood Preferred Guest and Caesars Total Rewards have announced a new partnership. It seems as if the major chains are going with Las Vegas focus since many of them had limited offerings in Sin City. IHG partnered with the Venetian and Palazzo, Hyatt teamed up with MGM and now it is Starwoods turn. Soon SPG members will be able to earn and redeem Starpoints with select Caesars Hotels. You will also be able to double dip and continue to earn Total Rewards points if you are member of Caesars own program.

You’ll like these odds: SPG® members can soon redeem Starpoints® for stays at participating Caesars Entertainment hotels in Las Vegas, Atlantic City, Lake Tahoe, and more. Plus, once registered, members can earn Starpoints as well as SPG elite qualifying night credits for stays at Caesars.

There is a targeted offer floating around for 100 Free Air Miles if your provide American Express with your email address. I tried it out and my Air Miles number is not one that is targeted. I assume it is for holders of an actual American Air Miles credit card.
