 We now have a page on Rewards Canada that lists limited time welcome offers for opening bank accounts from various Canadian financial institutions. You may be thinking 'hey that goes beyond what Rewards Canada is about' and kind of, yes, but with the current economic situation that is presented in Canada we like many other business have to 'pivot' and expand beyond our core business. We've seen a slew of personal finance blogs jump into to the points and miles space so we're doing the opposite - dipping our toes into the personal finance side of things. Not to mention these are limited time offers with 'bonuses' that 'reward' you and bonus and reward are two of the biggest words in Rewards Canada's vocabulary and given the fact that some of the accounts like Scotia's earn points well then it's right up our alley.  If you are existing holder of the TD Aeroplan Visa Platinum card you may be offered an upgrade to the Infinite version of the card. Rewards Canada reader Robert K. let us know details of the upgrade offer he received:.

"Last week I received another letter saying if I upgrade from my old Platinum to the new Infinite, TD will gift me the first year $139 fee and throw in 20,000 AP points.  Interest rate stays at 19.99%. It caught my attention as my Nexus renewal is coming up. I signed up for the upgrade (which in my case was only on offer to the end of November.)"
