Aeroplan's Match Weeks are returning for 2017! Match Weeks is where Aeroplan will match all mileage donations made to 10 of their charitable partners. The Match Weeks will kick of next week the The Stephen Lewis Foundation. If you were planning to donate to one or more of these foundations, of course it is good to donate at anytime but even better if you can do so during a Match Week! (Source Aeroplan)

Veterinarians Without Borders (October 2 ‒ 8) ‒ Veterinarians without Borders - Canada works with those in need to foster the health of animals, people and the environments in which they interact.
MusiCounts (November 20 ‒ 26) ‒ MusiCounts’ mission is to ensure that children in Canada have access to music programs in their schools and communities, and the organization focuses on putting musical instruments into the hands of children who need them most.
Air Canada Foundation (December 4 ‒ 10) ‒ Through its Hospital Transportation program, the Air Canada Foundation helps sick children reach medical treatment not available in their community allowing them to receive the best medical care possible.
Emirates is updating the onboard lounges found on their Airbus A380 aircraft.It will start rolling out on their planes this July so you could expect to eventually see it on the YYZ route! Remember that it may relatively hard to earn Skywards miles here in Canada but you do have options with Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan and Japan Airlines Mileage Bank (think Starwood Preferred Guest with them as well) to redeem for business class flights. While we were on vacation WestJet announced an decent sized expansion out of Montreal. Three new routes to Halifax, Quebec City and Boston will start in March, June and October respectively. Additional flights are also being added to Calgary and Vancouver. (Source WestJet)
