The newest set of Air France KLM's Promo Awards are now out and this month there are extra offers to celebrate Flying Blue's 10th Anniversary! I can't believe FB has already been around for 10 years, it just seems like yesterday that it was still Frequence Plus and Flying Dutchman. The 10th anniversary offers are only bookable between December 1st and 10th for a nice two month travel period between January 15th and March 15th. The offer for the 10th Anniversary is 50% off in Economy Class on whole bunch of Air France and KLM flights Worldwide including Hamburg, Boston, Sao Paulo and Tokyo to just name a few however no Canadian cities are included in that portion.
We have provided lots of coverage on the Promo Awards before but a quick reminder of what they are. They are discounts on award tickets for travel on Air France, KLM and occasionally other Flying Blue airlines like Air Europa and Kenya Airways. The discount ranges from 25 to 50% off the regular amount of miles required. As you can see just by the discount this can be a very good offer if you get 50% off for Business Class! Some highlights for this month are 50% off Business Class between Europe and Rio, Bogota, Brasilia and Cali, 50% off some Economy and Premium Economy routes between Europe and Asia and more. This month has a worse showing for Canada with only 2 cities having promo awards at only 25% off Business Class, Montreal and Vancouver.
