WestJet announced today the addition of their second Transatlantic destination after the success of flying to Dublin this year. The next city is Glasgow and will be served from Halifax. The flights will start on May 29, 2015 and will be operated with their 737-700 aircraft. The plane will actually commence its journey in Toronto with a stop in Halifax and will run until October 23, 2015

- New daily non-stop seasonal flights between Halifax and Glasgow from May 29, 2015 to Oct. 23, 2015.
- New daily direct (same-aircraft) seasonal flights between Toronto and Glasgow.
- Daily connections between Glasgow via Halifax or Toronto to Montreal, Ottawa, Winnipeg, Calgary, Edmonton, Vancouver and 16 other cities in WestJet's Canadian network.
