September 9 Update: Marriott contest winners, save $40 on Canadian Points University tickets & 6 new bonuses

Congratulations to Ross S. of Saskatoon and Harsha K. of Calgary who were the winners of 30,000 and 15,000 Marriott Rewards points respectively in the second Marriott contest of ours where readers had to tell us about their favourite Marriott family of hotels brand. Speaking of Marriott the Rewards Canada family is excited to try out the new Calgary Airport Marriott In-Terminal hotel tonight! The hotel opened exactly a week ago and had their ribbon cutting ceremony yesterday. The hotel is part of the new International Terminal development at YYC that will be opening at the end of October. The next Canadian Points University will be taking place this October in Toronto! It will feature some of the same speakers from the Vancouver conference held this past January and some new speakers as well. I personally will not be speaking at this one but we are working on having another speaker from Rewards Canada in place for the YYZ event.
