Back in July we let you know about the Air Miles mileage increases that were disguised as a "Fuel Surcharges Included" enhancement but as we all know it was pretty much another devaluation. We are hearing from people in the comments of that post that they are not happy. Are you in the same boat, do you feel the same way? Here is what one of our readers sent us recently:

Looks like WestJet is ready to add another code share partner: Qantas. According to Airlineroute.net applications have been made to both the U.S. and Canadian transport agencies. Right now it appears that Qantas will code share on WestJet flights but there is nothing mentioning WestJet codesharing on any Qantas flights.

ReplyDeleteand once I have enough (say 5400) to redeem a Free iPad I'll probably clear out my account instead of trying to redeem for short-haul flights
Yup, after not finding low-miles options for air miles travel redemption (most came up as high rate 25%+ more miles) I cancelled my BMO MC. I've stopped shopping at Safeway/Sobeys. Pretty much not going out of my way to collect air miles other than free miles.
