Sure wish I hadn't booked my flight to San Francisco already!
ReplyDeleteIt is really frustrating that Air Canada and Aeroplan have chosen to reward 'loyalty' this way by making bonus offer only available to new bookings. They have the whole mentality that we have your money already so why should we reward you. The cost to issue the miles to existing bookings wouldn't be big as long as you keep a registration process in place as some people who have booked previously will not check or register for such a promotion.
ReplyDeleteI totally agree with this because I have been caught so many times as I do not wait until the last minute to book my flights and most times I do use flight passes which don't qualify.
